It's a political utopia stupid

Here's another fun one from ThinkProgress:

During her session, Werthmann went through a litany of examples of how President Obama is like Adolf Hitler. She noted that Hitler, who acted “like an American politician,” was “elected in a 100% Christian nation.” Although she failed to once mention Antisemitism or militarism, Werthmann explained how universal healthcare, an Equal Rights Amendment, and increased taxes were telltale signs of Nazism. Werthmann also warned the audience:

If we had our guns, we would have fought a bloody battle. So, keep your guns, and buy more guns, and buy ammunition. [...] Take back America. Don’t let them take the country into Socialism. And I refer again, Hitler’s party was National Socialism. [...] And that’s what we are having here right now, which is bordering on Marxism.

Here's the part where I want to give anyone that reads this a bit of probably unnecessary education.

1. The National Socialist Party was not based in any way on Marxism.
2. Germany is not a 100% Christian Nation.(as suggested in the article with the hint to anti-semitism... there are plenty of German Jews and today they have all types of people including atheists"OH MY!")
3. Socialism, like Capitalism is an unreachable political utopia.

I don't know why it's so hard for people to read things. Karl Marx's revolution had nothing to do with stealing everyone's guns and making everyone gay. That's the Democrat Party(sic). Marx's revolution was about getting working folks to have the ability to live like the wealthier folks that treated them like garbage. It's essentially the invention of a true middle class. Something that our "Capitalist" society has made some pretty good use of. Hitler has a different agenda entirely. While he may have used the term "National Socialist" to describe his political party, it was anything but. It was indeed a fascist party intended to restore the pride of the German people who had just been handed a bill from the rest of the Europe for causing a world war. His revolution was an Imperialistic takeover of the Western world. Something more akin to our efforts in the Middle East than anything to do with bailing out the banks and the auto industry.

If there's any reasonable comparison to the racist hatred that Hitler preached in order to gain popularity for himself or his party, it's probably a bunch of idiots shouting and carrying guns to political rallies claiming baseless lies about their political opponents.

Just sayin'.
