Townhall, not exactly my favorite place. The article is on the lessening of the term Christmas in American society. This goes along with the same crap of people claiming that saying "happy holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" is somehow anti-christian. Let's be fair folks.. perhaps 90% of America is on the books as "some form of christian" but that doesn't mean that it should be required by all christians of whatever persuasion to always mention the holiday season at the end of December as Christmas. Why is it so terrible that out of respect for people of non-christian religions that you politely say the same thing, but with different words? There is no need to protect christians in America. Abroad, perhaps, but at least in the United States, nobody is thinking of eliminating Jesus. And this sentence:"I am getting the idea that too many Jews won’t be happy until they pull off their own version of the Spanish Inquisition, forcing Christians to either deny their faith and convert to agnosticism or suffer the consequences." is absolutely rediculous in my opinion.
UPDATE: another rant on this topic because I'm sick of seeing articles about it. Why would I have to say Merry Christmas when Christmas isn't until the 25th? Isn't the Holiday Season the time from Thanksgiving to NewYear's? You don't tell people Happy Thanksgiving in the first week of November do you?
