Blank rhetoric to disguise talking points

Beware! It may just look like kind words, but hidden among this article of kind words about the Pope's death, it's... bum bum bum Republican Talking Points!?!

"in mourning the passing of Pope John Paul II. The Catholic Church has lost its shepherd, the world has lost a champion of human freedom"
okay, sounds good, but WAIT!
"Pope John Paul II left the throne of St. Peter in the same way he ascended to it, as a witness to the dignity of human life."
dignity of human life? That's almost sounds like... but wait there's more:
"Throughout the West, John Paul's witness reminded us of our obligation to build a culture of life"
Culture of Life!?!
"We will always remember the humble, wise and fearless priest who became one of history's great moral leaders."
Sounds a lot like W is doing his best to parallel his mighty struggle to save the rich and vegetable, with the Popa's great works to fight illness and poverty. I'd be okay with this, had Bush not made similar speeches SEVEN TIMES in the same fuckin' day! Let's be frank about this, the Pope was on my A list recently, because while it's outrageous the way that the children scandals were handled, he was adamant in supporting the anti-war efforts of protestors around the world. And while he supported W's praise of faith, he finished the very sentence with remarks of his bigotry in pushing war and beliefs as opposed to good diplomacy.
