Expect more of this happening. And I mean worse than Vietnam. The difference between these men and draft dodgers though, is that they've been discharged and should no longer be required to serve. My right hand man was in a similar debocle, but being in the army infantry as a paratrooper, he reached his specialist class and was given an honorable discharge and was retired. He's received letters offering reenlistment, and they always give you two options on the letter. To reply that you don't wish to serve again or reply that you would. His response, option three which is not listed or in his words, "Where's the option where I just tear up the letter and never read it at all." as he carefully tore the entire letter and envelope into small pieces immediately disposed of in the trash. It's dishonorable for our country to call men into to duty that have already put their life on the line. This is a sad way to avoid reinstating a necessary draft while continuing to commit to military action that has now killed 1200 of our troops.
