Early October

Well as predicted, Oct. looks to be the craziest media month of the year. Bush and Kerry bashing is at an all time high mingled with constant campaign stops in swing states, the debates and a few choice press conferences put out by the administration to once again keep the press away from criticism about the war. That's right folks, the CBS hack scam has gotten so much overblown press that CBS has decided not to report any criticism about the war until after the election. Here's a good article to keep you up to speed. Feel free to compare this info to Bush's last press conference with Allawi, our Iraqi interim PM. You'll find there that not only are most of their assertions unfounded, even the Bush administration disproves them. Powell said that things in Iraq are getting worse, and Rummy told the press last week that the Iraqi elections may not take place in some "regions" that are too dangerous still. So let's see free elections = only some of the country getting even the opportunity to vote. Well I guess that must be why Ken Blackwell has been denying new voter registration based on the thickness of the cards their printed on. Disgusting partisan garbage. WHEN WILL WE HAVE THE TRUTH?

Well I'm wearing my tin foil hat. There was a time when I was really speculative of actual tampering vs. accidental tampering, but more and more the accidents are becoming obvious. Vanity Fair just released an article about the 2000 election saying that the whole thing had been basically planned before the election even happened. The more and more truths are revealed the more obvious it is that there is more corruption, locally and federally, then there is decent and accountable ethics. I thought I was ashamed before, but seriously, if this election is at all in question we will lose any stance whatsoever as an example of good democracy. We've already let the world know our intelligence isn't as great as it seemd. They know that we no longer have a free press. If we botch the basic tenant of a free and fair election in our own country, we are no longer the symbol, we are the exception.
