I'm getting behind on my news, and I haven't read anything real about Greenspan's recent comments about the economic downturn from last month. So far I heard some gibberish about him claiming he did not know if increases in expenditures related to terrorism and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were, as Bush has asserted, the primary cause of the ballooning deficit. But he did say he believes there is "significant residual discrimination" against African-Americans in the labor market. If anyone has an article that's fairly balanced, post it up. I don't have time to look one up right now.
Oh and just for the record, by "balanced" I just mean something that's not an opinion article. I don't care if it's Ted Rall or Paul Krugman or David Brock(and it better not be Ann Coulter), I just want the "news" story, not the responses from the spinsters.
