Yes you tried to stop it by telling the UN that Saddam Hussein had been preparing to create weapons of mass destruction using aluminum tubes and uranium harvested from Niger. No matter how many times, whether it was for 2 and a half hours or 2 and a half years, Powell attempted to stop the war in Iraq, he gave up all rights to say "I told you so" when he made his speech before the UN. Correction when he outright lied to the UN with information that he's basically attested to knowing was wrong all along. Poor Colin. You could've been the most popular first black President.
