Chicago newsman Howard Ludwig made some news when he applied for, and received, a gun permit for his son Bubba. Thing is Bubba is a baby. There are no age restrictions for a gun permit in Illinois, as the toothless baby picture on Bubba's Firearm Owners Identification Card shows. The card is for real. But the 10-month-old will have to wait a while before he can use it — to legally buy a gun.
