Uh Oh, I think they're on to me

National Review
"When I see the worsening degeneracy in our politicians, our media, our educators, and our intelligentsia, I can't help wondering if the day may yet come when the only thing that can save this country is a military coup."

You can read the rest of the article to see how batshit crazy Thomas Sowell is. Not only does he make the statement above, but he makes conclusions based on what I can only understand as random whim. He goes from mentioning that Babe Ruth's shutout record probably won't be broken because pitchers don't play for nine full innings let alone 14 to making it out that “Global warming” , “diversity,” “gun control,” “open space,” and the like are not allowed to be discussed rationally. He then wraps up his stupidity with this:
"
I am so old that I can remember a Democrat, at his inauguration as president, say of our enemies: “We dare not tempt them with weakness.”"

I really would like to know what it's like to live in such a narrowed view of the world where everything equates to "either you're with us or against us". Well I'm against you Mr. Sowell. I'm against your opinions and I'm against your rhetoric. It's not as your reader writes:
“Liberals hold us individually responsible for nothing but collectively responsible for everything.” I hold you responsible individually. And I hold every other conservative asshole with these bullshit opinions, individually! I don't hold the guy across the hall responsible for this drivel, nor do I claim all conservatives are at fault. I've said time and time again that the problem with these batshit crazies is that they aren't conservative. They are radical in that they think the United States, the most diverse country in the world ought to be filled with citizens who respect one idea and one agenda, that of their precious and insane neo-cons. On one quote though I do agree, it may take a military coup to change things. But I assure you Mr. Sowell, individually, that a coup of that sort would indeed be an act of your so called "group ignorance". And that "ignorance" is what's going to make this country a better place to live. Because it isn't ignorance. It's the cold hard truth.
