No wonder recruitment is down

Umm.. hello? Condoms have been saving lives ever since they've been pushed as protection for transmission of AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. Sure they aren't 100% fool proof, but to state our right that they DON'T save lives is an outright lie.

The Catholic Church... adding itself constantly to the list of people that just don't get it. We don't live in the 12th Century anymore. It's about time religious viewpoints actually made sense with reality. I mean I'm all for having faith and belief in something unknown, but what good does it do to outright lie to people? It's things like this that are the direct reason why I don't affiliate myself with any Christian based religion. As far as I'm concerned their dogma only insists on keeping the public ignorant and controlling them with false truths and misrepresentations of true hard fact.
