Okay well we did alright last night I guess. No Governor Blackwell(YAY!) No Mike DeWine(WOOHOO!).
On issues, 7 states passed referendums against same sex marriage.(not so good)
Ohio passed the higher minimum wage. (very good)
It also passed the smoking ban which I'll comment on in a few.
I'm pretty sure the arts bill passed, as did the health and human services bill.
The worker's comp bill was withdrawn because it was bs.
I'm confused on the casino bill results, but I'm not really that concerned. I think Ohio should have casinos if they want casinos.
I think we should be happy to have the first female Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi in a few months. Senate races are still undecided, but it looks like even losing the majority there won't be too bad for balance. And I'm still holding out for enough democratic wins in those last four races. If we get two of them, it's enough.
