Some fucked up shit

Okay, first I got confused reading about these purity balls that have been happening. After reading more about it at their website I'm utterly disgusted that such a thing exists. And the pledge that the little girls have to make to be sexually pure until they give themselves to their husband as a wedding gift?!!? That's just wrong. Then reading further, I found out about this site. Child Super Models? Almost sounds like something legitimate when you think about child fashion and how models are any age from newborn to old age, but look at the site. It's like child pornography, but instead of nudity, they're in bathing suits and well trampy clothes. It's so disturbing that a parent would allow their child to pose for this site. It remains legal because there isn't any nudity, but I don't know... I think having young girls pose like this on a website is just as bad as teaching pole dancing in high school. What the hell is up with American values? It's either one extreme or the other. Remember when sex wasn't an issue when you were 12?

UPDATE(not exactly): I just wanted to add that several studies have proved that abstinence based sex education doesn't help protect young people from sexually transmitted diseases. Young people who practice virginity pledges are more likely to engage in anal or oral sex which puts them in high risk situations. It is also unlikely that these young people will use some form of contraception when they do decide to have sex, which is also a pretty bad idea these days. Bottom line from my perspective? They let the cat out of the bag when I was pretty young, we had sex education a year or two before high school and we were taught abstinence was best, but if not here's what protection is. I think the folks in my age group are more understanding of today's sexual dangers than any of the young people today. Mostly because things like the dangers of oral and anal sex aren't taught in abstinence only programs which leads to a lot of misunderstanding.
