Well I guess there's already some hubbub over the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections methods and practices. Apparently precinct level vote counts are not being made public and some folks are being charged with criminal allegations of obstruction for attempting to obtain those numbers. The Board is apparently running a post-election audit of the results, but that audit isn't based on actual vote counts, but subtotals of counts of a subset of precincts. I guess the techs running the polls aren't even supposed to look at the individual totals or read them for any reason.
Sounds a bit stupid to me. Almost as if one of the candidates on the ballot were somehow connected to the election in a way that could make such changes to Election procedure. Or that the Secretary of State himself were somehow running for ... I don't know... Governor?
