Torture

"When fascism comes to America it will be wrapped in a flag and carrying a cross. "

Check out this video

It's pathetic that we as a country have used abuse and torture as a means to obtain information about a war we don't understand. Today the United States Congress passed a bill supporting this torture. Supporting detainment of men without charge. Giving the president the last word on what "enemy combatant" means, what torture means, what treaties mean and who deserves the basic justice of . I'm sure in the minds of our foolish leaders that I'm an enemy combatant. Of course, I'm against everything they stand for. Not because I'm not a patriot. Not because I support terrorism. Because I AM AMERICAN. I understand the values I was raised with. I understand why supporting undesirable means subjects our soldiers to the same treatment. I understand why giving up habeas corpus puts the accuser in a position above authority. It alters "innocent until proven guilty" and for what? For Mr. Bush's war? For Donald Rumsfeld's assumptions? This law doesn't protect anybody. It turns us into the enemy. To every member of Congress that voted yes to these bills, you deserve nothing more than the same treatment you are now condoning. That goes for the president and his merry band of fascists also. Damn you all for destroying my country.

Also, this is directly from the homepage of congress.org:
WARRANTLESS WIRETAPPING APPROVED BY HOUSE
In a vote of 232-191 the House approved a warrantless wiretapping of domestic calls. The Senate Judiciary approved that and one that requires special court warrant approval. Which bill should the Senate pass? 28,534 messages.
37% Support National Security Warrantless Wiretapping
63% Support Court Approved Warrant Required Wiretapping

Can someone explain to the Senate the definition of constituency?

Thanks for destroying our ideals Mr. Wasteofspace

I know this won't make it to the actual President. Why would it, given the bubble you've all created around him. So now we're in full support of torture. Habeas Corpus is no longer an American ideal. And apparently the United States Constitution means nothing to you people at all. If there were justice in this country, you'd all be fired right now. If there were justice in this country, then perhaps our peoples voices would be heard instead of the mockery that exists today as the United States government.
