Grabbed this paragraph from a times article.
"Katrina exposed serious problems in our response capability at all levels of government," Mr. Bush said. "And to the extent that the federal government didn't fully do its job right, I take responsibility."
As much hatred i have for this administration, i'm glad to at least hear bush accept responsibility, even if it is a little late-coming. Of course, there could have been many preventative measures taken way beforehand to lessen the hurricane's destruction, and it will remain to be seen in the days, weeks, months, even years ahead what action the federal government takes to correct this horrible wrong.

Yes, it's nice to hear the President admit some mistake. He's only been making them for the past five years, but that's alright, we have an Iraqi constitution, the new FEMA director was the guy that came up with the duct tape solution to biological weapon attacks on the U.S. and New Orleans is still primarily under water. I'll appreciate Asshole in Chief's mea culpa for this when he hands his resignation speech in for proof reading. Until then I still say "Hasta La Victoria Siempre!" Bring on the revolution!
