A haven from woes by delving deeper into them.
"Though I don't know why I chose to smoke sess
I guess that's the time when I'm not depressed
But I'm still depressed, and I ask what's it worth
Ready to give up so I seek the Old Earth
Who explained working hard may help you maintain
to learn to overcome the heartaches and pain"

How could I not be. If there's anything to push the liberal agenda, it's the wakeup call from this crisis. It's tragedies like this that should prove to the nation that what we need is good strong leaders. Not a president that goes on vacation while the worst disaster of our times ravages his own political base. Not a Governor holding back tears while she blobs on about the crisis barely able to keep it together. We need someone who's going to look ahead and ready the country for anything we may encounter. Not someone that pushes the timeline back to make it seem as he reacted immediately. It's a hard pill to swallow, but in fact we are all to blame. We've allowed our media to boast of dead bodies and looting when true honest people are laying down anything they can to help people survive. I've missed a lot too, Renhquist's death. Bush's attempt to make Robert's the new chief justice even though he's only been a judge for two years. Though I have heard rumors he may be gay which is refreshing for some reason. The republicans are asking for donations and claiming the money will go to relief funds when even the Red Cross is saying that the only way to donate efficiently is to direct the funds to them or a local church in the area. Lies lies and more lies are just cranking from the noise machine and folks that were on the ground know that this tragedy will see a change in the country that is much more than some redrawn maps and a gas shortage. The events of this past week will live on in America for years and by years I don't mean days and by days I don't mean minutes. Band together folks! Lead the charge in your neighborhood! Trust in each other, that's our only way out.
