VP Debate

(Sorry I'm a day late)
Where to begin. I don't know if this'll be the popular opinion, but I think they both lost. Neither candidate answered the questions that were asked. Cheney seemed like he was just pissed off and annoyed. I really felt it was low of him to not dignify Edwards with the basic courtesy normal in a debate and that to me was way more rude than the several responses where he didn't even speak when he had time. Edwards on the other hand played the same game. He hurled specious arguments at Cheney, and really didn't give himself time to respond to Gwen Ifil's questions which made him look like the same ranting angry politician that Cheney was, just a pretty more animated version.
There was definately some big differences between these men, but I feel Edwards put himself on a more naive pedestal while Cheney just proved to be who everyone believes him to be. The chickenhawks that see this gruff old man to be a hero in an old man's body still see that same determined man, while those that despise Cheney got more fodder for their dockets. Nothing happened in my opinion.
