And yet, here he is pictured wearing it.
I'm looking for verification on this one, but it looks pretty suspicious to me. The photo is from the G.H.W. Bush presidential library. Who knew the first appointed president of the US had a uni-brow problem?

Apparently the other medal he's wearing is the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon. I can't see to find verification that W. received either of these medals. I had heard about the marksmanship award previously, but apparently the info would be in W's DD214 which is the document that also says what he was discharged for and of course the document that was "lost" supposedly. I'm not military guy, so I know nothing of this stuff, so if anyone can give me some verification to what's right or not I'd appreciate it. Pete? Any ideas? Any thoughts on where to get the truth?
Well I don't know what the "little bitch" comment is referring to, but I have to ask what document shows this award then? I need to find out if Bush actually received this award or not. Another note on this topic though, have you guys been hearing about the documents released showing reports of communications between Bush and his officers for trying to get out to go to school and the direct order to appear at the physical that Bush wasn't at? There's also an ad that's not by MoveOn, but another organization that's similar that shows one of the high ranking officers in the Alabama National Guard denouncing Bush ever being there, which of course means he lied in his own memoir, but these are just trivial facts. The medal thing is trivial too. The only thing not trivial is that Bush denied a direct order to appear for a mandatory physical and he never showed. That's against the law no matter how you slice it. Also, as Pete should know, it can be considered treasonous to deny a direct order.
