Laura and Time magazine

Laura likes to consider anti-Bush remarks the same as lies about Kerry.

TIME Critics throw out so many charges against the President. Is there any one that you found the most unfair?
BUSH I think they're all very unfair. [Laughter.] I really do.
TIME Do you think these swift-boat ads are unfair to John Kerry?
BUSH Do I think they're unfair? Not really. There have been millions of terrible ads against my husband.

Hey Laura, while you're at it, why don't you bash stem cell research efforts as well.

TIME I wanted to ask you about stem-cell research because you brought it up the other day. Your greatest objection is that the other side is raising false hope. But your husband is running as the optimist. Isn't optimism good?
BUSH Sure, but not to say cures are at our fingertips, because they're not with stem cells. I know what it's like to have a parent suffer from Alzheimer's. And to give people the idea that there is going to be a cure next year for Alzheimer's—or for anything else—is just not right.
TIME We've all known people who have had difficulties having a child.
Any thoughts about IVF treatments, which, as you know, wind up often discarding a fair number of embryos?
BUSH Whether or not people should be able to donate their—time Yes.
BUSH Sure, I think that sounds all right with me.

Just like all medical problems Laura knows like all good morons that research on a cure should really only take a few months otherwise it's wasteful. I wonder if she feels that Cancer research should be stopped because those folks are giving false hope to anyone with a tumor.
She goes on to make some very on the fence statements about gays, claiming Bush thinks everyone should be treated with dignity. Let's not forget how dignified it is to be incarcerated without charge and held in captivity without the right to cousel in the Nation that created "guilty until proven innocent".

its a sad day when someone's blog is centered on bashing a woman, find something better to do with your life

Thanks anonymous, but that woman is the first lady of the US, and she's bashing the military, stem cell research and public decency. Lot's to blog about. I love women, just not that woman... or her husband.

P.S. The above comment is what we call a troll. These are hapless members of the internet community that have no real opinion of their own, but they are happy to comment on yours completely out of context. For instance, notice how the troll refers to my blog as being "centered" around making fun of women. My blog is neither centered around this one post, nor is it about women at all. The description of the blog has and will always be "Where particular bounty hunters congregate". Those of you familiar will know this statement has two sources, Star Wars and Paul Mall cigarettes. Now you want to say that my blog is "centered" on smoking and star wars, then you might've hit the nail on the head. Either statement proves that the trolls never really read anything, they're just annoying. So you may see a comment that says naught more than "Don't feed the trolls" meaning anytime I see one of these jobbies make a post that gets taken seriously, I may remind you not to continue the argument as the trolls are usually just assholes.
